Elizabeth April's Galactic Federation account is the story of a psychic who says a conscious abduction during a meditation retreat at 18 led her to telepathic contact with extraterrestrials and, in 2011, to an out-of-body meeting of a body she calls the Galactic Federation of Light. In this episode of Awaken the 6th Sense on 4BK TV, host Emilio Ortiz walks her through that story and the practice behind it: trance channeling, remote viewing, discernment and psychic protection. April is clear that she is describing her own experience, not proving it.

The topic matters because the episode asks the questions the 4biddenknowledge audience keeps asking: if non-human intelligence exists, how would a person know, how would they make contact, and how would they tell a trustworthy source from a harmful one? April's answers are experiential and cannot be verified in the ordinary sense, which is why they deserve a fair hearing and a fair test.

What the video covers

The definition, and the retreat at 18 (from about 2:10)

April's definition of an extraterrestrial is broad: "a being that is not from this planet," including an incarnation in a different dimension. She then retells the event that started everything (from about 3:00). At 18 she was already exploring the Akashic records, past lives, remote viewing and deep meditation, but assumed any life elsewhere would have no interest in humanity. The conscious abduction she reports during a Vipassana retreat changed that: "it really did dismantle my entire understanding of this reality." The questions it left, who they are, why they are here and why they take people, became the programme she pursued with the tools she already had.

First signs of contact (from about 5:20)

Two things followed. The first was a past-life flashback of herself as an extraterrestrial. The second was a stream of telepathic downloads, much of it about quantum physics. When she asked the source to show itself she says she was warned, "you probably don't want to see me," before a typical gray face with large black eyes appeared in her mind's eye. Asked how a beginner gets past that fear (from about 8:30), April prescribes exposure: read about the Grays and the Pleiadians, watch people who channel, and let the unknown become familiar.

Trance channeling as a trained skill (from about 10:30)

April says everyone has access to these abilities. Her own route was trance: quieting the ego mind, the to-do list and the senses until the room no longer registers. Early on it took 25 to 30 minutes of sweating effort to receive a single image for a friend, and the slow phase lasted two or three years. The near-instant channeling people now see from her, she stresses, is the product of that work.

Her quantum framing and the method (from about 14:10)

She explains why she channels with her eyes closed in the language of quantum mechanics: unobserved reality is "technically in a flow state," a wave state, and only observation makes the table between her and Ortiz solid. Closing the eyes, in her account, withdraws observation from this reality so intention can observe another. That framing is contested; the explainer on the double-slit experiment and the observer effect lays out what the physics does and does not say.

The method itself (from about 15:35) is plain. Lie down, get the temperature right, be neither hungry nor full, and remove every discomfort, because any sensation anchors attention in the body. Then relax in layers, as in a QHHT-style regression, until consciousness separates from the body, which is where she locates remote viewing and astral travel.

Intention and the universal Google (from about 17:10)

The missing step for most people, April says, is intention. Many reach the trance state, fail to recognise it, and conclude they are blocked. Her fix is a clear request going in; she describes channeling as "tapping into a universal Google" that returns nothing without a specific question. Her early questions ran from who God is and whether reality is a simulation to whether beings on ships eat or have partners.

The dorm-room visit and the meeting on the moon (from about 21:40)

The central story is set in 2011. At university, April says she felt sudden dizziness, went to lie down and, eyes closed, saw a seven-foot Pleiadian in astral form walk through the corner of her room. He told her to be awake at 2 a.m. two days later. At 2 a.m. she says he returned and said "follow me." What followed was not a physical abduction but an out-of-body experience ending in a meeting inside the moon, attended by two representatives from each member species of an organisation she did not yet know was called the Galactic Federation.

The agenda, she reports, was the energy shift beginning on Earth and a warning of a possible cataclysm the attendees called days of darkness (from about 24:10): an electromagnetic event that would knock out electronics, which she now reads as cosmic radiation passing through the sun. She has kept emergency food stored since.

Going public, and telling her mother (from about 26:40)

April says she then remote-viewed the Federation's mothership regularly. She began posting online in 2016 without naming the source and only in 2020, when she says the Federation asked her to, went on camera with "a message from an organization called the Galactic Federation of Light." The personal cost comes next (from about 28:40): she describes telling her mother she was not really Elizabeth but an extraterrestrial here to help humanity, a conversation that ended in tears. Two months later, she says, her mother and stepfather watched a large craft hover about 50 feet from their house before it left. Her mother has been her most devoted supporter since.

Species, hybrids and discernment (from about 32:10)

April lists the beings at the meeting as small troll-like figures, gelatinous ones, ten-foot humanoids, and cat-like and reptilian types. On human variety (from about 35:00) she says many species spliced their DNA with ours, so every human is a hybrid, with regional differences coming from ordinary evolution afterwards.

Her strongest advice follows (from about 36:20): discernment is "the number one most important aspect of channeling," and she warns against handing power to any being because it has better technology. Before accepting information from a new being she asks it to "show me unconditional love," a vibrational response rather than a visual one, and ends the exchange if it does not come. Lower-frequency beings, she adds (from about 40:30), teach acceptance; she admits disappointment that greed and resource conflicts exist off-planet too.

Soul groups, protection and the advanced version (from about 42:25)

Beginners, she says, should start with their own soul group and phrase every intention "for the highest good of all involved." Her protection practices (from about 45:45) are a visualised egg of white light around the aura, cord-cutting, a spoken affirmation for people who do not visualise, and, when she feels followed during a remote view, bilocating through several places before returning to her body. The advanced technique (from about 51:00) is to invite beings into the room rather than travelling to them, which she says is far less tiring than repeated trips out of the body.

The 2023 message (from about 53:40)

Asked what the Federation says about the present, April describes a third-dimensional system dismantling and a fifth-dimensional frequency emerging. The message she has relayed for a year is "whatever we observe we create collectively": in her reading, controlling interests cannot create fear directly because of a law of non-intervention, so they arrange what humanity observes instead. Ortiz connects this to a line he attributes to Dr Joe Dispenza on a collective network of observers creating reality. Her closing answer (from about 59:50) is that simple acceptance that extraterrestrials are real would open the planet to help it currently shuts out.

Key takeaways

April presents the Galactic Federation as something she visits in an out-of-body state, not something she has seen with physical eyes, and says so plainly.

Her method is ordinary meditation technique pushed far: sensory quiet, layered relaxation, a clear intention, then years of practice before it became fast.

Discernment comes before contact in her system, and her working test is a felt sense of unconditional love from the source.

The quantum language she uses to explain the practice is a metaphor in mainstream terms, not a description of what the equations say.

Billy Carson's reading

Billy Carson does not appear in this episode; it belongs to the Awaken the 6th Sense series on 4BK TV, where Emilio Ortiz interviews practitioners about psychic abilities. It sits inside the 4biddenknowledge framework for three reasons. Carson teaches remote viewing as a trainable skill and treats the declassified Stargate record as the starting point for any serious conversation about it. April's insistence on discernment and energetic boundaries matches Carson's emphasis on guarding attention from draining inputs, set out in his talk on frequency parasites. And her closing message, that what a population observes it tends to create, is a collective version of the manifestation principle that runs through Carson's work. The one caution is on the physics: the double-slit result raises questions about measurement, not evidence that closing one's eyes dissolves a table.

What mainstream scholarship says

On the physics, April's wave-state picture is a popular reading of the measurement problem that physicists do not share. Superposition is real for microscopic systems, but decoherence removes it for macroscopic objects long before any eye opens, and no standard interpretation of quantum mechanics requires a conscious observer.

On remote viewing, the United States government funded research and operational programmes from the early 1970s until 1995, when a CIA-commissioned review by the American Institutes for Research found a small laboratory effect of disputed meaning and no actionable intelligence. On abduction, Harvard psychologists Susan Clancy and Richard McNally have shown how sleep paralysis, hypnagogic imagery and later suggestion can produce vivid, sincere abduction memories, and the Betty and Barney Hill case shows how hypnosis shaped the modern template. None of this proves any individual experience false; it does mean sincerity is not evidence.

The name Galactic Federation of Light entered circulation through 1990s channeling literature, notably Sheldan Nidle, and belongs to the same family as the Confederation of Planets in the Law of One material. No physical evidence has been produced for such a body. Days-of-darkness warnings have a long history in prophecy circles; what is real is space weather, including the 1859 Carrington event. The claim that humans carry spliced extraterrestrial DNA has no support in genomics, where the genome reads as an ordinary primate lineage with well-mapped Neanderthal and Denisovan admixture.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Elizabeth April?

Elizabeth April is a psychic, author and YouTube creator who describes herself as an intuitive and interdimensional messenger. She says she has channeled a body she calls the Galactic Federation of Light since 2011 and first named it publicly in 2020. Her work centres on psychic development, discernment and what she calls the new-earth shift.

What is the Galactic Federation of Light?

In channeling literature it is an alliance of extraterrestrial civilisations overseeing Earth's transition under a rule of non-intervention. The term spread through 1990s channelers such as Sheldan Nidle and is used by many practitioners today. There is no physical evidence for it; it is known entirely through channeled accounts.

What is trance channeling?

Trance channeling is a practice in which a person enters a deeply relaxed, inward state and reports receiving information from a source experienced as outside themselves. April describes it as quieting the senses and the ego mind, setting a clear intention, then receiving images or messages. Psychology generally treats channeled content as produced by the channeler's own mind while recognising that the states involved are real.

Is remote viewing real?

Remote viewing was studied and used by United States intelligence agencies for over two decades under programmes later grouped as Stargate. The 1995 review found a small statistical effect in laboratory data but no useful intelligence, and the programme was closed. It has not been shown to work under controlled conditions.
